JOINT EFFORTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIAMOND TOOL INDUSTRY

The first General meeting of Diamond Tool Association of India was held on 24th September, 2006 at Jaipur. The meeting focused on development of Diamond Tool industry in India. 70 members from different state - Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and others gathered to discuss the issues relating the industry.
Chairman of the Association Mr. Panchsheel Jain (Managing Director of Sharp Diamond Tools Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur) during his address told that their Association is actively engaged and working towards solving the diamond tool industry problems of VAT, and
other current problems of the members.The Chief Guest of the meeting Mr. Nitin Mehta, Vice President of Industrial Diamond Association of India, Mumbai (IDAI) also addressed the meeting and told that the Diamond Tools Association of India & IDAI will make joint efforts for the mutual benefits of the association members and development of diamond tool industry in India.irendra Sood, Managing Director of Winter Diamond Tools, Gurgaon emphasized on regular discussions on current and feature problems of the industry and unified efforts to combat them. He said that in this way Indian diamond tool industry can efficiently compete with the foreign diamond tool manufacturers. The meeting was also addressed by Association secretary Mr. Sharad Kankaria.
