Industrial units
engaged in manufacturing of diamond tool can become member of
the Diamond Tools Association of India (DTAI) by applying in the
prescribed application form along with requisite fee. Such
member units would authorize a person as their authorized
representative to DTAI who will be entitled to all the rights of
a member such as participation in the meetings, casting vote and
to become a candidate in the elections of the |

association. Any
membership will be effective only after getting the approval of
the executive committee of DTAI. Beside themembership fee
mentioned below, every member will pay and entry fee of rupees
two thousand and one hundred while becoming member first time.
Mainly there are five categories of membership: |

1.
PATRON MEMBERSHIP |
|
An industrial unit engaged in production of diamond tools, can
become Patron Member under the bye-laws of the association by
paying a sum of rupees ten thousand. Membership under this
category will be for life long and such member will entertain
all the rights of a general member.

2. LIFE MEMBERSHIP |
|
An industrial unit engaged in production of diamond tools, can
become Life Member under the bye-laws of the association by
paying a sum of rupees five thousand. Membership under this
category will be for life long and such member will entertain
all the rights of a general member.

3. GENERAL MEMBERSHIP |
|
An industrial unit engaged in production of diamond tools, can become Patron member under the bye-laws of the association by paying a sum of rupees five hundred. Membership under this category will be valid for one financial yearie. 1st April to 31st March

4.
LIFE ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP |
|
An industrial unit or a business firm indirectly associated with
diamond tool industry in the manner of trading, marketing or
supplying raw material, can become Life Associate Member under
the bye-laws of the association by paying a sum of rupees five
thousand. Membership under this category will be for life long
but such member will not have the right to cast their vote or to
contest any election of the DTAI.

5. GENERAL ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP |
|
An industrial unit or a business firm indirectly associated with diamond tool industry in the manner of trading, marketing diamond tools or manufacturing, supplying raw material, can become General Associate Member under the bye-laws of the association by paying a sum of rupees five hundred. Membership under this category will be valid for one financial year i.e. 1st April to 31st March and such member will not have the right to their cast vote or to contest any election of the DTAI.
